Programmed by New Leaf Physical Therapists and choreographed by New Leaf movement specialists, our classes are designed to give you a complete workout that will enhance your performance while preventing injury.Â With the New Leaf PT system, our instructors understand every personâ€™s unique needs and will alter the class every session to accommodate them, while keeping it fun, energizing, and perfectly aligned.Â Classes are designed to meet you at your current level of function and help you progress with each class. The intimate setting allows instructors to see your every move and make necessary corrections and modifications.
Balance Boost Challenge
Balance Boost Challenge is a 45 minute class that will challenge your balance and mind body connection. Using knowledge of the nervous system, yoga, pilates, gyrotonics and physical therapy this class will improve balance, and coordination, and therefore enhance your physical performance, decrease risk for injury, and keep you sharp. Perfect for everyone.
Neck and Shoulder Stability
Neck and Shoulder Stability Class is a 60 minute complete body workout with emphasis on exercises, positions, and postures to support a healthy neck and shoulder girdle. This class is designed to help you maintain, and prevent reoccurrence of your upper body dysfunctions while relieving stress and tension. This class is the perfect compliment to climbing, cycling, running, tennis, golf, and sitting long hours at a computer.
Pilates Reformer class is designed to be a challenging and fun workout that builds lean, flexible muscles, increases coordination, enhances postural alignment, and relieves stress. The focus is on precise movements and breathe. This class is for all levels, but you must have completed three privates to participate.
Straighten Up Spine Care
Straighten Up is a 60 minute class for all ages and abilities. All movement starts with a healthy spine, and this class will keep you and your spine moving in all planes of motion for a stronger core. In this class you will work through a variety of postures and positions, with a focus on breathe to challenge your body while quieting your mind.
Functionally Fit is a 60 min high intensity workout that uses PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) patterns, and higher impact moves and sequences to enhance your personal function. This class focuses on using patterns that mimic how we actually move rather than how we normally workout, with a faster pace, so that it gets your heart rate pumping. This class is a nice compliment to crossfit, barre, pilates, and running types of exercise routines that tend to be very linear and do not incorporate rotational components that are important for our everyday and recreational activities.
