Many years ago I worked with Dr. Loren Fishman referenced in the above article, and agree that Yoga and alternative medicines are often very beneficial in healing and preventing injury.  I use Yoga and Pilates exercises with 90% of my patients in the clinic, and are often recommending it to patients at maintenance aftercare for injury prevention.  The symmetry of movements and three dimensional exercises keep our bodies functioning with proper alignment, flexibility and strength, the keys in injury prevention.
